I haven’t posted anything on the hedgehogs since they were just little guys. Sadly enough we’ve given them all away… that is, except for Finnegan! He’s quite the little fatty nowadays. In fact, I doubt it would do him harm to lose a bit of weight! Anyways, here are some pictures I took of him this evening. He’s grown up well, hasn’t he?

just wondering, are hedgehogs all prickly like porcupines? because they look like they are, in the photos.
Yes, hedgehogs do have quills. However, they aren’t painful in the least. Hedgehogs actually have the ability to raise them when threatened, but both of my hoggies are very comfortable around me so their quills are down most of the time. They feel like grass, really. But they do have soft fur on their bellies.
